Two (sigh) more days…

I would love nothing more than to be able to tell you that I bought Final Fantasy IV DS this morning and spent all subsequent subway rides and work breaks experiencing the glory that is Cecil and company in the third dimension. But, alas, when people say “North American release date: July 22″ they apparently mean “Canadian release date: July 24.”

The countdown to Thursday is on. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

    I live in Edmonton, and I couldn’t find FF4DS anywhere on the 22nd. I found this blog article with a Google search for: “final fantasy iv” “ds” “canadian release”.

    Best Buy and Future Shop’s websites listed the 24th as the release date. But, I think the real delay may just have been shipping issues, rather than an actual later release date in Canada. It’s started appearing in stores that I’ve seen today (the 23rd).

    I was able to pick up a copy at Toys ‘R Us in northern Edmonton this afternoon. So, you may have some luck today. Just wanted to let you know.

    No FFIV for me until I get my DS. -_-

    I might just get my own and then buy Ysobel’s M3 off of her. I do get paid next week, so maybe then. ^.^
